Two Arrested in a Massive Meth Bust in Lawrence County, Ohio

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A tip about a man on probation making meth led to the discovery of what is described as the largest meth bust in the history of Lawrence County, Ohio.

That's according to Sheriff Jeff Lawless, who says the bust happened about 2:15 p.m. Thursday. A probation officer and a sheriff's deputy went to the suspect's home to check on the tip and reported finding five active "shake and bake" style meth labs in the house.

According to investigators, an additional 40 inactive labs were also discovered inside the home.
