HHA Administrator Pleads Guilty

(Huntington, WV)  --  The woman who was responsible for shelling out funds to help the homeless in Huntington has plead guilty to embezzlement.  Patricia Howard now faces up to ten years in prison after she pleaded to the single embezzlement charge.  The former administrator with Huntington Housing Authority set up a fake bank account in August of 2011 and pocketed 23-thousand dollars.  Her fine could be more than ten times greater.  She could be ordered to pay 250-thousand dollars when sentenced in February.
